Dear Prospective Volunteer,

Thank you for your interest in our Volunteer Program at Northside Hospital Forsyth!

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

  1. Complete Volunteer Application (see link below).
  2. Once the application is received, an email will be sent with a link requiring a Back-ground Check. Please follow all instructions on this link.
  3. Once the Background Check has been processed, an interview will be scheduled.
  4. A volunteer placement will be assigned based on service needs and availability.
  5. Two (2) TB skin tests must be completed. The 1st TB test will be given at the time of your interview and the 2nd will take place one week later.

After completing the above, you will be scheduled for Volunteer Orientation that is held once a month lasting approximately three hours.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  1. Minimum age is 18 years old.
  2. Serve one 4-hour shift per week.
  3. Serve a minimum of 100 hours per year.
  4. Commit to serve 1-2 years.
  5. Complete Service Orientation & Safety Training.

Dear Prospective Volunteer,

Thank you for inquiring about the Northside Hospital Forsyth Volunteer Program. We are proud of the volunteers here at Northside Forsyth and the services they provide. We offer volunteer opportunities in a variety of settings. If accepted into our volunteer program, you will be joining a mulititude of individuals, of all ages and backgrounds, who are dedicated to giving back to our hospital and community, as well as ensuring we achieve our vision of delivering world-class healthcare.

Volunteers play an important role in a variety of different departments and have varying responsibilities within the facility. Most volunteer openings are Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Some opportunities exist on weekends and evenings, although these are quite limited. Volunteers are asked to commit at least one four-hour shift, each week, for a minimum of one year and 100 hours.
