Thank you for your interest in serving as a volunteer while attending college. The application will be available on January 6, 2025. The program will be limited to 15 applicants and the deadline for submitting an application is January 31, 2025.
College students must meet the following criteria in order to be eligible for the program. Please review and determine your eligibility before submitting the College Student Application.
Criteria:
- Students must commit to a 4-hour shift and a dedicated day each week for the full 8 week program which will begin the first week of June.
- Prospective volunteers must be available for an in-person interview during the month of March. No interviews will be conducted virtually.
- Prospective volunteers are required to complete a brief health screening with the Northside Hospital Forsyth Employee Health office at the time of the interview. There is no cost for the screening.
- Prospective volunteers will need to complete a background check through First Advantage.
- Those selected for the program MUST attend Volunteer Orientation on Wednesday, May 14 at 9:00 a.m.
- The Auxiliary will certify volunteer hours if the 8-week program is completed with no more than one absence.
