College Student Volunteer Program

Thank you for your interest in serving as a volunteer while attending college.

The application for the 2026 12-week summer program will be available on January 5, 2026.

Applications will be closed when the applicant quota has been reached. Apply early.

College students must meet the following criteria in order to qualify for the program. Please review and determine your eligibility before submitting the College Student Application.

Criteria:

• Students must commit to a 4-hour shift and a dedicated day each week.
• Prospective volunteers must be available for an in-person interview during the month of March. No interviews will be conducted virtually.
• Prospective volunteers are required to complete a brief health screening with the Northside Hospital Forsyth Employee Health office at the time of the interview. There is no cost for the screening.
• Prospective volunteers will need to complete a background check.
• Those selected for the program MUST attend Volunteer Orientation on Wednesday, May 13, at 9:00 a.m.
• The Auxiliary will certify volunteer hours if the 12-week program program is completed with no more than one absence.
